Contact form and email

When you send the contact form or an email, your name, email address, optional company name and your message are used only to answer your enquiry. The legal basis is your request and our interest in answering it. Messages are not shared with anyone else and are deleted when they are no longer needed, unless retention is required by law.

Your IP address is used briefly to protect the form from spam.

Server logs

The hosting provider records technical data for each request (IP address, time, requested page, browser) to run the website and protect it from attacks. These logs are deleted after a short period. The legal basis is our interest in a secure, working website.

Cookies

One cookie is set only when you choose a language. It stores that choice (en, bs or de) for a year.

To protect the website, the hosting provider may set a short-lived security cookie that tells people apart from automated attacks. It is not used to track you. No other cookies are used.

Service providers

The hosting provider and an email delivery service process data on our behalf, only for the purposes above. They may process it outside your country, including in the USA, under contractual data protection safeguards.

Your rights

You can ask what data about you is stored, have it corrected or deleted, or object to its use, by writing to info@vectus.app. Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation, the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection or the data protection law of Bosnia and Herzegovina applies, you can also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
